Jeff Lee is the Head of Debt Strategies at Defease With Ease | Thirty Capital, bringing 25 years of experience in CRE finance, debt structuring and modeling, risk management, and defeasance and interest rate hedging execution. Jeff and his team have contributed to the defeasance of over 12,000 commercial loans totaling $120B. He leads the firm’s debt strategy division, focusing on optimizing capital structures and crafting financing solutions that support both short-term and long-term objectives. With deep expertise in debt underwriting, credit analysis, securitization and capital markets, Jeff has successfully structured complex debt transactions across multifamily, office, retail, and industrial sectors. He specializes in securing competitive financing terms, managing interest rate risk, and leveraging debt to enhance returns.
